A Stubborn Mother!

In 1972, a girl born in a lower middle class family, blessed with 5 elder siblings and loving parents. There was no educational values in the family, all they knew is children are for helping to earn their bread and butter, the more kids you have the more money will come in the house. But the girl was totally different than other members, she loved getting education, however, a devastating day soon came in her life when her parents denied for sending her school after her fourth grade, and she got shattered, she requested to her parents “Mumma Papa, I will work hard, I will do everything whatever you will tell me to do, I will help in our family earning; i.e., brick making, but please let me study further, I love going school.” But her parents have already made the decision, so they did not accept the request๐Ÿ˜ข. By the time she was 15, she got married and went to another house where everyone was the same like her family. After four years of marriage, she had a baby girl, and holding her girl in her arms; she had decided to provide her as much education as she can, she started living her dream in her daughter. Guys she is no one else, but my lovely Mother.๐Ÿ˜Œ

My life’s another phase began when we migated

My mother always treated me like a special child, alike other girls in a village, she never asked me for helping her fetching water from well, bringing fuel like dry woods and all, all she wanted is to focus on education. But I never understood why she was doing all, why she can’t treat me like other girls, I also wanted to do all those things; which my friends used to do. I vividly remember that day when she was out for her work, and some of my friends were going to bring woods from outside the village and I insisted to take me with them, so they did. I had no idea of doing so, but by seeing them I began gathering some woods and I got hert, and when my mother came back home; she got furious for the very first time. I still remember her words,” you are born to get educated and make people work for you, I don’t want you to become ordinary, because you are extraordinary” her words still gives me goose bumps ๐Ÿ˜Š. I was merely 8 or 9 years old when it happened, so obviously I was not able to absorb it well,ย  but one thing I decided while seeing my mother scolding and crying at the same time that I will keep on educating myself up until I die.https://internetlifestylehub.com/partners/

After couple of years, a heavy earthquake of 2001, we migrated to urban area; where everything was different, the environment, people, their attires, language, accents, Lifestyle, buildings, everything and another phase began to its fascinating journey. I remember one fine day when I got my 12th results and was thinking about next steps, we were set on a sofa and my uncle came to visit us. After a while, he told my father, ” now it’s enough sending a girl outside the house, non of our girls have seen the doors of college, she can not continue studying, for a girl it’s more than enough to know how to read and write”. My father also agreed with the same, buy my super mother? She was intact in her decision, hence she went against the entire family, elderly people, decision makers and all, she fought for my education, for her only dream.

That was life changing moment for me and I felt really proud and blessed to have such an amazing mother. I did MBA specialisation in finance, and now I am pursuing doctorate degree in human physiology and will continue educating myself.

All in all, a month always protects her kids for the better, whether children will understand or not. Girls generally starts realising after getting married, whereas boys stops understanding after getting married ๐Ÿ˜‰.
